The Lanzheim Civil War is a major conflict that takes place during the events of MagnaCarta 2. It started with the death of the reigning Queen Ibrin after she was murdered by the Prime Minister Schuenzeit, who sought to seize control of the throne of Lanzheim for himself.
The war is fought primarily between the Northern Forces under the leadership of Schuenzeit and the Southern Forces under the leadership of the noble Lord Alex and Princess Rzephillda, the daughter of Queen Ibrin.
Other races have also been dragged into the conflict as well, sometimes unwillingly. These races have often taken to siding with the Southern Forces and include the Trewa, the Mare, and the Avis.
